I Can Only Imagine - A Book Review

I was so excited to get the chance to review I Can Only Imagine - A Memoir by Bart Millard.  I'm sure by now most of you have already seen the movie, you know the song, but did you know there's a book?

After seeing the movie the first week it released I had so many questions as to what was true to life and what was "hollywood upped".  The Memoir has answered all my questions.  By reading the book you get to go behind the scenes of the movie, plus a backstage pass, so to speak, to Bart's life.

One thing I especially liked about the book is that included Shannon's side of the story.  I loved this addition and it was great to read her take on things.  I also really like that Bart included personal pictures of his family.  I admit that I looked at the pictures first.  This actually helped me to put real faces to the people I was reading about rather than Hollywood actors.

I would recommend this to any fan of Mercy Me and the song/movie I Can Only Imagine.  It will give you a much more personal look into the life of Bart Millard.

Thanks to booklookbloggers.com for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
